Description
Spend a day on a exploring by mountain bike, visiting several treasures of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, off-the beaten path and away from the crowds.
Arriving at our beautiful ranch we will show you the grounds, you can take in the beautiful mountains all around and meet the local horses and hummingbirds. Once everyone is ready we will equip you with a state of the art mountain bike and all the necessary safety gear. Then, following our knowledgeable guide you will set out for the day.
We will start the day by heading to Moray, an Incan center for agricultural experimentation and development. Here you leave your bikes and visit the impressive architecture of Moray on foot. After riding for an hour across the plains we will come to the quaint, colonial town of Maras. Just outside Maras there is a peaceful meadow, where our advance-team will set everything up for your picnic-style lunch break. We will ensure you have plenty of time to admire the breathtaking valley and the snow-capped peaks. Next, we will descend a steep hill to the famous Salineras salt mines. Finally get ready for some excitement as we descend a mountain trail back to the ranch, where you will be able to use our showers sand enjoy some refreshments.
