Chocolate Workshop

The chocolate grown in Peru is among the best in the world, with one theory even suggesting that the Andean foothills were the origin of the plant. The Cusco region where we are located is the home to the rare and delicious Chuncho cacao. These cacao trees can grow to be 200 years old, but since they yield smaller quantities they are harder to come by, which makes savoring them during this workshop all the more unique!

(minimum of 2 people; discounts for groups of 4 or more)

Available Upgrades/Packages:

  • This workshop can be combined with gourmet meals on our ranch and/or any of our horseback rides, bikes, hikes, or activities for a half-day or full-day experience.

  • Each ride and workshop can be conducted as private (only for your group) for an additional fee.

Based out of our beautiful ranch, you can meet our horses and take in the majestic mountains that line the sacred valley. Abraham, our local chocolate expert will take you through the step by step process, starting with our local bean and finishing with a delicious cake! You will get to learn about the history of the cacao bean, the intricacies of the chocolate making process, and try many types of chocolate and chocolate product.
