The sacred valley of the Incas produces some of the best coffee in the world, and with Peru as the fifth largest producer of Arabica beans, we do know a thing or two about coffee here. Whether you’re a coffee aficionado, or simply love your morning cup, this workshop will take your knowledge and appreciation of this fine beverage to the next level. Based on our beautiful ranch, enjoy views of the majestic mountains lining the sacred valley and horses and hummingbirds to observe out the window.
We will make some artisan coffee from beans grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers, right here in the Sacred Valley. Our local coffee expert Abraham will take you through the whole process, you’ll prepare the beans, roast them to perfection, get insights into the way locals prepare it, and compare several different preparations. Abraham grew up cultivating and making coffee in the Peruvian Amazon and is knowledgeable about the origins and characteristics of the beans we are using. And of course, you will get to try more than a few delicious cups.
