Peruvian Paso Horse Experience
Spend a special hour on horseback, away from the crowds. Our bilingual guides are locals extremely knowledgeable about the area and dedicated to enhanching your experience in this special place. Our horses are also well-trained and cared-for specimens of the Peruvian Paso breed.
The adventure begins on our ranch located just outside the town of Urubamba, in the Sacred Valley, where you’ll receive a warm welcome and get to meet the team of our guides and horses. This is where we’ll go over a few basic riding and safety instructions and you’ll have the opportunity to get to know your horse.
This ride focusses on learning about the beautiful Paso horses, a proud tradition of Peru. We will teach you all about how we care for our horses and what make Paso horses so special.
We’ll then show you our neighborhood, a beautiful section of the Sacred Valley that few get to see. There are no famous or popular tourist attractions on this route, which is why this is an unforgettable and peaceful way to experience rural life in the Sacred Valley.
We’ll also ride along the single dirt track that goes through the ancient village of Pichingoto to see the ancient, cavern like homes built into the side of the mountain, many of which are still occupied by Quechua people, descendants of the Incas, who are our neighbors and friends.
After riding, we’ll have exotic, local fruits and refreshing beverages waiting for you at the ranch.
