Description
Our private vehicle and bilingual guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Cusco or the Sacred Valley and then head to Moray, where we start the adventure. Moray is an Incan centre for agricultural experimentation and development whose impressive architecture you’ll visit on foot. Then, you’ll be equipped with a mountain bike and all the necessary safety gear to continue the adventure.
After riding for an hour across the plains, we will arrive at the quaint, colonial town of Maras with its picturesque facades. Just outside the town, there is a spacious meadow where we encourage you to stop for capturing some stunners with your cameras. You will also have time to admire the breathtaking views of the Valley and snow-capped peaks.
Next, we will descend a steep hill to the famous Salineras salt mines. These mines are ancient and quite unlike any usual mine, for they are terraces of pools of highly saline water perched above the canyon.
Finally get ready for some excitement as we descend a mountain trail back to the ranch, where you will be able to use our showers, and enjoy some cold beers followed by a wholesome lunch in our main dining room, after which your driver will be ready to take you back to your accommodation.
