Description
Spend a day cycling from our beautiful ranch to the bustling market of Urubamba!
Arriving at our ranch we will show you the grounds, you can take in the stunning mountains all around and meet our horses and the hummingbirds flying around. Once everyone is ready we will equip you with your mountain bike and all the necessary safety gear. Then, following our knowledgeable guide you will set out for the day.
You will first ride through the village of Pichingoto, home of Quechua people who have been working the local salt mines for generations. Then follow the river upstream for 6 kilometers until we reach the town of Urubamba where we visit the truly picturesque local market, which is a feast of colours, aromas and sights. Then, we will enjoy lunch and some refreshments at a cosy restaurant to later visit the main Plaza of Urubamba. We ride the bikes again to visit the local cemetery and then cycle back along the river to the ranch, where we will enjoy some refreshments to finish the adventure!
